End User Licence Agreement

Version 1.0 · Last updated 29 July 2026 · Applies to Critter Rescue and Chikoo on the App Store and Google Play.

These documents are drafts prepared for review. Have them checked by a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction before the first store submission.

What this is

This agreement is between you and Sibad, and it governs the games we publish — currently Critter Rescue and Chikoo — on iOS and Android.

Installing or playing one of our games means you accept it. It replaces Apple’s standard licence agreement for our apps.

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

You are buying a licence to play, not ownership of the game.

What you may not do

You may not sell, rent or sub-licence the game; reverse-engineer, decompile or modify it except where the law expressly permits; remove copyright notices; use cheats, bots or modified clients that give you an unfair advantage or interfere with our servers; or use the game to break the law.

Recording and streaming your own play, including monetised video, is expressly permitted. We would rather you did.

In-app purchases and virtual items

Some games offer in-app purchases. When you buy virtual currency or items, you are buying a limited licence to use them inside that game. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred outside the game.

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and are verified against the store’s servers before anything is granted. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us — though if something has gone wrong, write to [email protected] and we will help you sort it out.

If we discontinue a game, we will give reasonable notice and will not sell new virtual items after announcing it.

Your account and your data

You may play without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping access to it, and you may delete it at any time — see Delete your account.

What the game collects and why is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Updates

We may issue updates that change, add or remove features. Where a change materially reduces something you paid for, we will say so before it happens.

Ending the licence

You may end this licence at any time by uninstalling the game.

We may end it if you materially breach these terms — for example by cheating in a way that affects other players. Where the breach can be fixed, we will tell you and give you a chance to fix it first.

Warranty and liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here removes your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, the games are provided as-is. We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Apple and Google

Apple and Google are not parties to this agreement and are not responsible for the games. On iOS, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this agreement and may enforce it. Any claim relating to the game is directed to us, not to Apple or Google.
